Fiber

So almost wo weeks out and I've had another epiphany - fiber makes a world of difference!  My first week out I was eating soup regularly, particularly high fiber lentil soup and everything was flowing smoothly shall we say.  This week more focus on pureed meats and things were a lot less comfortable.  Some MOM helped but I added in more fiber with hummus, and some more bean and lentil soups and things are back "normal".  They stress water and exercise in the pre class in Ottawa but don't really mention fiber.   I'm getting all my fluids and 7000-10000 steps per day.  Fiber certainly makes things much better for me.  There is a really good lentil and bacon soup in the supermarket which I highly recommend for the full fluid stage.  The bacon has to be strained out though.

Hey,

What brand is the lentil & bacon soup & which grocery can you find it in?

It's Baxter's brand and had 8g of protein and 4g of fiber per cup.  I think you can get in at pretty much any grocery store. I've bought it at Loblaws and Freshco.
