Sooo cold!

I know it's really cold outside but I am part way through my second week of Optifast and I have been feeling like I can't get warm. I feel quite okay aside from that and just wondered if anyone else experienced this. Since I turned 50 being cold isn't usually a problem for me. ☺️

Oh it's just beginning!  I haven't been warm in 2 years!  Good luck.

I haven't been warm (except for a couple of very humid days a few years ago) since surgery in 2006. LOL My hands, feet and nose are always icy and I don't feel fully dressed unless I have a sweater on.

After surgery and once you lose weight invest in a good quality down jacket for the winter because you are going to always be cold.  I was always hot and used to wear a spring jacket out in winter....now I wear long johns and down jackets and wool socks.......

Thanks for the heads up everyone! I guess next year's Christmas list will be all about sweaters! ☺️

I was always hot, always sweating.  I would sweat if I just looked at a sweater never mind had one on.  I haven't had a winter jacket in years, instead I wear a light fall jacket....but since my Opti and surgery, I am always cold, wear sweaters and slippers....it is so weird, but also a very welcome change for me, I can wear dress shirts without worrying about the dreaded sweat stains now.

I'm always cold too, unfortunately I also get to a point where I don't notice how cold I really am, until I start warming up, then the shivers happen.

Try drinking warm/ho****er instead of cold.  I find that helps.  The cold water, just makes me colder.  And post surgery, it's harder on my tummy.

Thanks folks! I think drinking cold and/or icy Optifast suits summer weather better but at least I can have hot coffee and broth to warm up in between. ☺️
