TWH wait times?

I have now completed all of my appointments and the nurse was putting my file for a surgeon date to be scheduled. She said that I would hear from them in 1-2 weeks. Does anyone know when they are booking surgeries for now?

Hi, I am also at TWH - I was scheduled an appointment to see a surgeon within a week after finishing all of my appointments, but the surgeon appointment itself was eight weeks later (I go on Friday). I hope it is earlier for you - waiting is the hardest part! Well, maybe not the hardest :)...

Hi - a f/u... I had the appointment with the surgeon today. He said his office will call me with an appointment within a week or two. I asked when he was scheduling surgeries for, he said around mid-July (summer holidays notwithstanding...). So the wait continues!

Ditto, I got a call in about a week but then had about 5 weeks Before meeting with the surgeon.

Referral: 8/14; Orientation TWH: 12/14; Nurse: 01/15; SW, Dietician, Psych: 2/15; Surgeon: 5/15; RNY: June 15/2015

The nurse called me to finish up my file on Tuesday of last week, said that they would be meeting Thursday, well I received a call the same day around 2pm. I meet my surgeon July 10! so basically 6 weeks. Hoping to get surgery by the end of August. Good luck. I have Dr. Aarts @ East General.

I'm going through TWH as well. I got the go ahead on March 25, 2015 (a Thursday I believe), got the call to schedule my surgeon appointment the following Monday, and my appointment is tomorrow. So eight weeks sounds about right. Then who knows when my surgery will be. The suspense has been killing me.

I sent the dietician follow up food logs on the Thursday morning and heard back by the Monday with the surgeon appointment which was ~6 weeks later. I met dr cyriac on May 15, scheduled surgery for June 3. But I had heard they were scheduling into August so I was prepared for a late date but was pleasantly surprised

What date was your orientation? Was it jan 9? I am wondering if we went to the same one? 😀
