I had my orientation a month and a week from my referral. It would have been a month, except they didn't have an orientation the week before Easter weekend.

I had my sleep study done in Paris. That was just over 5 weeks ago. I called last week and they said they had the results but no report yet. If I need a cpap, that will really slow down the process. I would recommend you follow up with them 4 weeks after your sleep study and ask them to prioritize your report. Also, make sure they know to send the results to the clinic (if you are comfortable with that). I wrote it on my intake and called two days after my study, but they didn't have it in my file when I called last week.

When you get your orientation letter, it includes a long list of blood work they need (7 vials!).  Get it done asap. If you are positive for h-pylori you need to be treated and tested in Kitchener before you can move forward in the process. My h-pylori results took about 3 weeks to come in, but luckily I was negative.

So far I have been really impressed with how fast Guelph is moving!  Hopefully it is smooth sailing for you too.

Thank Kate...Yes my sleep study apt is on June 10th for the results :) ...next week :)

Is the Guelph location easy to park at and are all the appts there for everything?

There is metered street parking but it is an hour max (so not ideal for your orientation). There is a lot behind the clinic building, which is right beside the hospital. It is $12 to park there, which is expensive but still cheaper than a ticket. By-law checks those metered spots regularly because they are a great source of income. I parked on the street for my last two appointments, but won't for my trio next week.

So far everything has been in the same building. Orientation in the basement and my other appointments 1 floor up. The basement is the medical programs offices, while the first floor is for the surgical clinic.
