I guess I just turned a corner. People are noticing a difference in me, my size especially. I posted some before and after pictures yesterday. There is definition in my face, I have a waistline I discovered, and feeling even better after shopping at a store (TMI alert)!!! where I actually got fitted for a bra. It has made such a difference in terms of seeing that elusive waist. I had heard that people have waistlines, LOL.

My energy level is fantastic, I just want to walk everywhere, love walking now so much.

My 11 year old shops with me and encourages me to be brave and buy more dresses, more colour and things that are fitted.

That is the big thing-buying to not cover up, but reveal and define, and that is difficult.

I enjoy the comments, but I do enjoy being myself these days. The feeling of energy, hope and health. Summer is coming. I can wear less and feel great. This is the better result of having this surgery.

Have a great day everyone!

T. and Judy,

I think it is very cool finding people who start out the same weight as I as well. I am 5'4", and height matters, too. I have always thought I was too short for my BMI, but I can't use that excuse anymore. ;)

Good luck to us all, we have the power!
