Good morning all. Barb have a great weekend north. Suppose to be great weather. Work today. Lots of problems. Not a great day to have had little sleep. Kept waking up from aches and pains. Going swimming today. That might help stretch out some muscles.

Hi all,

New to this forum - today I'm at work and then it's picking up my 3 kids (ages 6, 4 & 3) from daycare, cooking dinner, bathtime, etc.  Usually after 9 pm is when I start in on the housework - NEVERENDING laundry! lol

Almost 4 months post-op

B - 3/4 cup oatmeal

S - 1 melba toast w/ PB

L - 1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup, 2 oz cheese & 1 melba toast

S - handful of cashews

D - not sure yet...probably something using ground turkey

Had a tea this morning and then as much water as I can throughout the day.

Hey there and welcome to the forum!

Do you mix protein powder into your food?  Just noticing there is not much protein in your menu today? My centre told me 67g minimum per day, did your centre have a recommendation?

Have a great evening and hope you continue to post, its really helpful!

I do mix protein into some foods - forgot to add it to today's oatmeal but did add some to the soup.  My centre also recommends 60-80g per day.  Today was a bit different for me as I usually do have a pretty high amount of protein.  Think I was craving some carbs

thanks for noticing and the advice! 😊

Welcome :)

I have always said that laundry multiplies when I'm not looking. And if I'm on folding duty, I am constantly asking myself, "Just how many f'ing pairs of socks does he wear each day?!"

I feel like I am eating a lot today.  It seems I get hungrier when I am sick.  But then I can't eat it all at one sitting, so I save a bit for a snack a couple hours later.

B- source greek key lime, 2 hard boiled eggs.

L- chicken salad on a Josephs low carb mini pita.

D- salmon burger, just plain, half of a corn on the cob, 1tsp butter.  The corn tasted so sweet to me.  First time having corn since surgery.

I just want to say how much I love this forum and this daily thread.  So many great people here

(and yes, I love emoticons)

bye for now

S- leftovers and syntrax shake later tonight.
