TWH Process

Believe it or not, I have run into a question about the TWH process at work. I know in Guelph we see a social worker a minimum of twice, and some are seen by a psychologist before surgery. What is the mental health process for TWH?  Do you meet with a social worker or psychologist?  How many times?  Do you have any mental health follow-up post-accident?

thanks in advance!

At TWH, the minimum is Social Worker first and then Psychologist as the last appointment. If you require more for whatever reason, they will arrange for more.

Thank you both so much.  It is funny how I knew where the resources for Guelph were but not TWH, and how different the process is at each centre. At least we all get to the surgery in the end!

I saw the phycologist first, then again last? I think it all depends on what dates the various team members are available, but I cannot be sure. I only saw the social worker once...?
