Nine days until surgery! Getting so excited and nervous at the same time! After five full days of optifast I am feeling pretty great. I love the chocolate!!!!

I go in on the 7th and I am actually excited! I started Opti on the 17th and I totally agree the chocolate is the best. The vanilla, I add cocoa powder to, to make it palatable. Best of Luck!!!

woo hoo... I have surgery on the 12th.... and started opti today... I agree.. the chocolate tastes good... the vanilla..... not so much...lol Almost regretting getting half choc and half vanilla. But will work through it..

I agree vanilla wasn't my favorite but I also added cocoa powder to mine to make it chocolate and it was yummy. I also added pumpkin pie seasoning to give it the pumpkin spice flavour or I didn't mind cinnamon to cut the sweetness. I used my bullet with ice and always blended them well. You will make it...and surgery will be here before you know it. I go for my 3 MONTH nurse appointment today and can't believe it's been that long already. Loving my new tool and I what's still to come.

That's so exciting that surgery is so close! The 9 days are going to fly by. Amazing!!!

Surgery for me is on the 14th of June. Let me know how things go for you, I will be watching for your posts. The vanilla certainly leaves something to be desired but I add a couple of squirts of MIO flavouring and it makes them taste like dessert.

Just think, this time next year you will be looking for that summer bathing suit

I tried the mio and couldn't do it. But I have been adding a teaspoon of decaf instant coffee crystals and I love the vanilla that way!

I actually prefer the vanilla :)
I like it with crystal light squirt stuff called Aloha pineapple coconut - makes it taste like a pina colada. I also like it with orange extract - creamsicle :)
