Hopefully, they may look at transferring some to Guelph as they did previously. I know the doctor at Windsor told me Toronto was quicker for scheduling surgery, but I remembered this happening toward the end of last year and people being transferred to Guelph.
Met the surgeon, Dr. Bhojani, in Guelph on August 3rd and he indicated then he could schedule my surgery for August 23 or 24th. I couldn't do it for then but he scheduled me for September 12th. So excited.

Yes.. same thing happened last year...but it was much later in the year.. around oct/nov ... and they did eventually transfer some people to guelph... but that was because guelph hadn't hit their "quota" yet. Hopefully the same thing will happen this year and you will get in soon.. This is the hardest part now... waiting..
I was one of the ones last year waiting...but I was too late to get the transfer to guelph.. and had to wait until june of this year to get the surgery.... It was a long wait... but seemed to get better the closer it came..

The waiting is difficult for sure. I can't really complain; things have gone quickly for me and I'm truly lucky. Everyone here has been so supportive and helpful.

Yes..it was a long wait..but it was good...got me to get my mind into the game....it's been so much easier since surgery to make the right choices and to get the best results so far....can't wait to see what the next few months bring

The same thing happend last year to me. i had my surgeon appt. in i think October and expected my surgery by Christmas. i was eventually scheduled for march 25th. so yeah the backlog is real and frustrating
