Nothing feels better then getting rid of clothes that are too big! I am closing in on the 100lb loss and I now hardly have any cloths. But the ones I have look good!! Soon time to shop for my wardrobe!!

I can relate to almost every single one of those. It is so nice to feel a freedom from the entrapment of our old bodies!
Loose and not so nice looking skin is a constant reminder of my former ways - but it is worth it, because I feel so much better! I still want to lose another 47lbs...I am determined and set up to do it!

My Ultimate weight loss goal is 130 - not that I even care to stay there, I just want to get there because whenever my husband or kids would ever ask me over the years how much I weigh, I always said 130lbs - I NEVER was (not since I was a teenager or young 20s). But since that is our running joke, I just made it my goal. I am now 7 month out and 50lbs away from goal, it is definitely doable. Once I get to goal I will also be exactly half my weight...which would be AMAZING!!
PS....if any of my family ask...I weigh 130lbs! LOL

It seems like just yesterday I was asking the same question. Realistically 12 to 18 months. But if you are persistent and look for cancellations it can be quicker. There are never any guarantees with this process. I was very fourtunate. My orientation was in December 2016 and Surgery April 2017. There were a lot of icy and snowy days that I was able to get some cancellations and ultimately got through the process quicker. I was more than ready, I had prepped and researched before I even asked for a referral. Some people need the full year to prepare themself for this huge life change.
Either way you are making a step in the right direction. I haven't felt this great in years! The weight is coming off consistently and although I still have 50lbs to go I know I will get there now.

I am also guilty! I am an everyday weigher. For the most part, I haven't seen any fluctuations...only downward. But I think that changes later on?
But I do have little stalls (that probably can't even be considered a stall) where I will stay the same weight for a week. Usually followed by a 2 lb drop over the following week.
So far I am so happy that it has been consistent. And so thankful that I had the courage to do this surgery for myself.

I had my surgery around the same time as you ...and I have said the same thing so many times - how is it possible that I eat so little and some weeks don't lose at all! I really think your body goes through times that it just holds on to water weight and readjusts...then the scale starts moving again.
Hang in there - it will come off!

It was like that for me for the first little while too! I would go every 2 to 3 days and it was fairly compacted. My body started getting used to the new digestion, and food intake - and now everything is moving much better with the occasional constipation.
Definitely make sure you get in your water - and try some hot drinks...that sometimes gets things moving better too.

No I'll not on anything anymore...I am going to the dr. Today to see if I can get the gas meds they prescribed at the hospital. The pains went away in the early evening and still good this morning.

I am almost certain it is gas pain. It is all over...and I am somewhat leaking gas LOL! which will give temporary relief, but it is coming back.
It has settled down this afternoon. I took a GasX after lunch.

I had RNY - and it feels like gas...all over! I am burping quite a bit too. So at least it is releasing. But very similar to shortly after surgery when the gas pain was everywhere.
