I am 10 months out and am down 170lbs. I have hit a stall and truly believe it is because of my excess skin. I am just not sure if it is reasonable to consider skin removal this soon out? Will I look like an idiot weighing 220lbs going to see a plastic surgeon? I do want to have another baby in the future, but someone told me to have the abdominoplasty wouldn't hinder that? Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks so much!

I'm not sure how excess skin would cause a stall.  If the skin is causing rashes or gets in the way of your exercise it might be a good idea to see a plastic surgeon now, but if it's not a health reason, most surgeons will probably wait until you are at goal and have maintained your weight for a period of time.

I heard that you have to be 18 months out to get surgery. I happen to be over 4 years out and have a date in June to get my panni removed. I still lose weight here and there but far enough along to have my surgery done. Good luck.
