im having my full tummy tuck sept 7 (as long as all is good at pre-op apt.) in my surgeons surgical center. i will be awake, clearly pain will be blocked and i will be somewhat drugged up to relax me. im not sure how out of it that will make me but still i will be awake. i am kind of scared but the fact that i have had 3 c-sections makes me think i can handle it. i was awake for those so how different can it be? right? lol. i have talked to my surgeons staff and googled it but im curiouse about anyones info who has actually done this themselves? i will get more info at my pre-op but still i would love to hear from anyone who has actually done it. thanx, i hope to hear from someone

I wasn't awake during my full tummy tuck but I was fully awake Friday for a minor revision.  It was awesome!  (I also have had two c-sections.)

I'm not to that stage yet (just having WLS in a couple of weeks), but like the other response, I have had 3 c-sections which didn't bother me at all.  In fact, I was always wishing I could look over the drape and see what was going on!
