First consult, what did you pay?

I had my first consult today and while I'm super excited because I really like the surgeon and he was spot on with all his suggestions. What surpised me was the cost. After a 10% discount my total came to 30,000 eek!

It would be in 3 seperate surgeries and it includes all fees and binders, checkups, and...

LBL
BA/BL (silicone)
Thigh lift (where it is right next to pubic area instead of down to knees
Arm lift
Lipo of flanks, knees, love handles

and he said he would remove some moles that bother me and fix a hernia I think I might have.

So is this high or low? What did you pay?

Yep that sounds about right I paid 20,000.00 for LBL/tummy tuck, BL/BA silicone it was 22k but got a discount for taking an early date someone backed out of scheduled surgery. I wanted to get my arms done which would have been 8,000 but surgeon said I would have to wait too many surgeries to do at once too risky for complication so I would have been right where you are at 30k I have opted now to wait even longer on the arms and see what I can do without surgery as they really aren't that bad best wishes it is so exciting I'm so glad I did OT and it was so worth every cent so pleased with my results

Upload a a photo to your albums on OH. Then you can copy and paste into a post. I am MAC illiterate. Do you write click the mouse on MAC or do you go to EDIT...Copy then Paste. You can also go to a site like photobucket and upload a photo then copy and paste from there. You have to paste from a web site not photos you have stored on your hard drive. I hope that helps because we would love to see your before.

To me that seems high. I had all that done except for the BA and a full neck and facelift and was under 20k. Body stuff done on Thur and the face & neck on Monday. I was off for 8 weeks. This includes time in the clinic (I was there for 7 days) and 7 days at the hotel with daily visits by Dr Sauceda and his nurse Patty...

That seems like a great price if you are talking about an American surgeon. I paid 27K for my surgeries and insurance covered the medical portion.

Those are very reasonable prices. I've had 2 consults for face lifts (everything) ...one was 24,000 plus and the other was 22,000 plus. My consults for LBL& thigh lift were 26,000 plus and 24000 plus. Plus meaning it was over the amount listed...I just cannot remember the exact numbers. I am going to schedule another face lift consult, but this surgeon charges $250 for the consult fee, so I am deciding when I want to do that one. I'm guessing with a consult fee like that and his reputation, his face lifts must be in the 30,000 range. Right now I just doing my homework
