Two days ago I began having spasms in my midriff, is this to be expected?  I was wondering if I'd just over done it for the day.  Anyone else experience these spasms?

Muscle spasms are normal, even several weeks out. I was given Valium as an anti-spasmodic. And you might have brought it o by over exerting yourself - so take it easy!

Spasms are normal in the beginning but if you over do it, they can get your attention quickly.  It almost feels like a charley horse in your stomach area.  Remember you have had major surgery and you need to take it easy and not push things to much.  I hope you are feeling better now.
