The PS doctor said that I don't have to wear the compression garment any longer.  However, his nurse said (after he left the room) that it would be beneficial for me to wear Spanks.  She thought it would give me a better result.  What are your experiences with the compression garments after 6 weeks?

I wore a spanx type garment after my compression garment. I liked having everything compressed for a while. It made me feel safe. After about 3 months, I weaned myself off it. Now I only wear support garments when I am going to formal events to smooth down any slight lumps and bumps.

I'm almost 5 months post op from an LBL and other stuff.  I wore the compression garments for 6 weeks - oh, how I hated those things.  No Spanx after.  My results are great so far.

Even after I stopped the compression full time, I found that by mid afternoon I felt 'heavy' and the binder helped me feel better

I wore spanx or control top hose or binder at least a few hours a day for several months.
