Not mine, they deny everything.  Thank goodness for my husbands insurance they covered tummy tuck and breast lift.

Good luck with them

I am currently trying to pick my policy apart and figure out if they will cover with the right documentation......These policies can be tricky trying to read between the lines sometimes! cool

I'd like to keep informed on this as I have UHC and want to submit my bills for my plastics. I figure what the heck, I might as well try. I think it really depends on your specific policy and what their clinical criteria is and whether you meet that.

As w/ any insurance it depends on the rider your company purchased. One person may have UHC and it covers reconstructive surgery and someone else may have it but it doesn't cover it. I have UHC and after reading all inclusions and exclusion it specifically says it does not cover any type of reconstructive surgery w/ the exception of breast reconstruction due to mastectomy. It then goes and specifically states under no cir****tances will it cover reconstructive surgery due to weight loss or WLS.

In order to find out you need to contact your company and find out what riders your company purchased to find out what is included or excluded.
