I have a quick question regarding claiming the Abdominoplasty (upgraded from a Panni) on my taxes come 2017. Has anyone else been successful in claiming part of their surgery on their return? If so what portion was covered in being reimbursed? A breakdown if you will.

Thanks in advance :)

Speak to your ps. Request a letter supporting need for surgery. i submitted full cost. I was audited, sent in letter and was accepted.

Just in case anyone reads this thread I found out that how it gets refunded with taxes is minus 3% of your net income from the cost of your medical procedure/expenses and then 15% of the remainder is what you will get refunded if it qualifies.

Hope that helps anyone else as it answered my question :)
