Joanne, I'm 61 and had my TT November 18, 2016. I absolutely LOVE my new tummy. It was a little rough recovery. I wasn't in any great pain, just uncomfortable where I couldn't sleep in my bed for about 4 days or lay down flat. My incision was no problem at all, it was the least of my discomfort. Today, it will be almost 6 months and I still feel a little tugging. But let me tell you, do I look great in my clothes now! When I sit down there are NO MORE FOLDS!!!! When I sit down my abdominal area is flat. My surgeon gave me this wonderful compression to go around my abdominal area. This made going to the restroom comfortable and even getting in and out of bed. You need meds the first couple of weeks, but after that its just being very careful when getting in and out of bed. You'll love your new tummy.

I have an office job and took 3 weeks off. Wished I had taken an extra week. Just a little sore in the abdominal area and some tugging going on. I had a tendency to want to hunch over, but doctor wanted me to keep my shoulders straight and pull upward. I can't tell you enough how happy I am with the procedure. Be excited!!!!

Thank you Joanne, that would be Lucian my daugther's German Shepard. He's amazing, so smart. Trained to keep her safe. He certainly does that and more. Sorry about your Kilo. We get so attached don't we. I love my grand dog's.

When Kilo left this earth, he opened our home and hearts to yet another rescue . . . Levi. We still miss him and Bear but we'll always be a multi-dog and one cat home

I was almost 59 when I had the works done in Monterrey Mexico. Went by myself and had a lower body lift, breast lift, arms and small thigh (groin to groin) fixed the loose skin where legs rub together. 4 days later I had a full facelift. The flat tummy is wonderful, but having real boobies again that the nipples don't point to my feet is better. Arms that don't almost hit me in the face when I watering is a plus. I do love the new face, I was looking very haggard after the weight loss.

I'm 6 yrs out, best thing I've done for myself. I did go back 2 years after the works for an upper body lift. The upper back skin/fat would roll the backs of the cute little tops that I was trying to wear. I can still wear a bikini without showing the UBL or LBL scars.

Actually, I'm a pain weenie... very low pain tolerance, and the pain was more uncomfortable not pain. Until the facelift and the strap around my head and chin pinning my ears against the stitches. I did take my percs, mostly to sleep, but with the body work and twilight sedation, pain is controlled for about 30 hrs.

I took out a 401k loan which was less than my new Prius One 2 yrs ago.
