Hi everyone,
I am a month post op and was just wondering if GERD is still a possibility after having the surgery? I thought that it pretty much disappeared after the surgery. Just curious on everyones thoughts.

I AM ALMOST 3 MONTHS OUT AND I HAD VERY SEVER CASE OF IT. SINCE THE SURGERY I HAVE HAD NOTHING NOT ONE SIGN OF IT. I THINK IT IS GONE.

My surgeon recommends that all his patients take an antacid like Pepcid for 6 months after surgery to prevent ulcers. So, I have not had any problems.
