ROSE Procedure

Yes, I have lost 12 lbs so far, but it is all from the required strict diet I have been on since 1 week before my surgery (3 weeks total of dieting so far) because I will not have restriction until I receive my first "fill" in my band in 1 more week.  I am okay with that though...I am so proud of myself for being able to lose weight without having any restriction!  This self-control period will ultimately bring me success in using my new band as a TOOL, not a total solution.

I completely understand what you are experiencing right now Deb and it is the worst feeling ever to gain the weight back after we go to such great lengths to lose.  That is why I made this decision after a great deal of psych treatment for my obsession with food and eating disorders.  I had to get my mind right in order to make this work for me short-term and long-term.
