revision from band to sleeve

 I have had my band for 2 years and it was fabulous in the beginning but about 7 months into it I started having problems and they just don't go away.  My surgeon has recommended that I have a revision from the band to the sleeve or rny and I am all for it.  Blue Care Network on the other hand wants me to go through everything again.  So I would have to gain all of my weight back I lost about 75 pounds and have put back on 25 and am not willing to put it all back on.  Has anyone had to deal with the insurance companies to get them to pay for a revision and if so how do I go about it?  Thanks for any help!
