Band Removed & pending bypass

I had my band removed on January 4th and my surgeon adviced waiting 6 wks for the bypass. My band was removed due to slippage and he said I would not be a good candidate for the sleeve due to my hystory with reflux.  Any advice/support and information you guys can give me is welcomed & appreciated. I'm just interested in knowing what the biggest differences are in band/bypass and also recovery information.  thanks friends!

I am no expert but I thought the sleeve actually helped people with reflux. No? I don't really know to be honest..

what surgery do you prefer to revise to?

i revised to the sleeve 3 months ago & while i didn't have any reflux issues - it's been an easy adjustment.
i would read up on the sleeve board regarding reflux issues (honestly - i don't see many cases of such) & then the rny board.

for me, i only needed a restrictive only procedure  -  malabsorption was never necessary.
