is revision an option?
I am almost 2 years out from lap band
I have been a poster child for results not typical
From the start of my 6 month supervised diet I am down 130 pounds
I have noticed the past few months that I am a bit short of breath
and I have to concentrate more and more on deep breaths
my sleep apnea had resolved but now I am tired in the morning again
I am assuming the band is pushing on my daiaphram
Does anyone know if insurance companies will allow a revision for this?

congratulations on your weight loss success! From what I've read while looking into my potential revision from sleve o ds, it looks as though insurance will cover a band- (something else) revision as long as there has been some type of malfunction with the band or weight loss hasnt been successful. This is what Ive seen through researching aetna & bc/bs. im not really sure about other health plans. good luck!
