no pre op diet for me

I had my pre op doctor visit yesterday. My revision is June 2. I asked my surgeon if I needed to do a 14 day or 10 day liquid diet. He said nope just to do liquids 3 days before surgery. He said that they usually have people to do the diet to drop some weight and shrink the liver. But since I don't have much weight to lose and this surgery is just to correct the mistakes made from my Mexico surgery.

I didn't have to do a pre op diet, either, with either or my surgeries, or a bowel prep as well.  Not complaining I was just surprised.  I guess it's the surgeon's preference.

I was a lightweight and didn't need any pre op diet either. Thank goodness. I don't think I could have done it.

I don't have a pre-op diet either... clear liquids 2 days before and Colace in a.m and p.m on the day before.

I didn't when the removed the band but made me buy the kit before getting the sleeve as it "is policy"  translated they make money of it.  Due to being on Atkin and losing so much before hand I didn't follow it.  I had my DH ask the doc when he came out how the liver was, he said healthy, shrunk and firm.  He stated he could tell I must have been very compliant

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
