My revision, anyone else have this?

I had the AGB placed 5/07/03 and had alot of problems with finding follow up care. So I finally found a doc and started driving 2 1/2 hours each way for care. Then earlier in 05 they discovered my hiatial hernia (diaphram) had reopened and my band was slipped in the hole. I had my revision on 11/15 to a open RNY. I have since lost 37 pounds and have just started exercising again. I have had 2 bumps in the road but am on the road to being healthy! Casey 05/07/03 AGB 288/256/270 11/15/05 revision 270/235/180

Congrats on your successful revision. I had revision from VBG due to some really significant complications - the band had eroded into my stomach, I had ulceration on the staple line, and I had 2 holes in my stomach which could have caused a complete perferation... I am glad to hear you overcame the bumps in the road and are on the journey to health and well-being... Blessings and light for your path, RL
