I believe I've come to the right place to ask a question about poo....
So my very good friend who is helping me through the surgery has been asking questions to people he knows who have been through the surgery to get an understanding about WLS and what to expect.
One lady told him that he poo looked like chicken fat for a few months after surgery.....this totally cracked me up. I wonder if it is true....
I hate butt nuggets! Specially the rocky ones. But I love Terri because she always knows the right way to describe it. Butt Nuggets! Mine even float.

only terri would come up with that one. and it's true never has mine looked like chicken fat but like terri i have butt nuggets from time to time

And YES I still eat Carbs and Fats but I know what portion control is!!

I think they were referring to the 'oil slick' poo. If you eat too much fat (it varies by person) you will get loose stool/diarreah... because we malabsorb fat the fat will float to the top of the bowl and leave a lovely chunky lookin oil slick on top - Im going assume this is what they meant? I know when I cook chicken the fat sort of floats off it in the pan and looks the same as the oil slick poo - just different color.
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
