The ASMBS says 36 mg if you don't have periods, 54-63 mg if you do. That's elemental iron.
I suggest carbonyl, 'cause it's absorbed well and won't stop you up.
If you go with ferrous sulfate, keep in mind that 325 mg of that only has 65 mg elemental iron. If you go with that, also buy a stool softener.
