I like all but VI. ...... foods aren't bad....somehow labeling them 'bad' seems counterproductive.

I'd reword it VI.... Thou Shalt Avoid Thy Trigger Foods (which is different for different people)

What do you think of: Thou Shalt Avoid Thy Trigger Foods Such As Simple Carbs And Sugars

Oh, is it your own creation? I would then suggest a slightly different font, I think this one is hard to read.

But I really think that leaving it to trigger foods without specificity is a better plan..... for some people it's bread, some it's chocolate, some it's bacon..... if you leave it to trigger foods, then it covers everything. Yeah, simple carbs should be avoided, but I think that absolutism in this area CAN be as damaging as a lot of other things.

Just my perspective.

Really good, thanks for this. I've managed to find a little square of fridge my daughter hasn't covered with her artwork: I took down the take-away menus.

Before the surgery I kept putting things off. I was never good enough. One of the benefits of WLS is that you start to believe in yourself. Check out my blog:

I like them all but following your doc's guidelines to the letter.

I  know that sounds like a good thing to do.  But some docs have guidelines that make no sense, like those that say never to use protein shakes even if you cannot get enough protein from food, or only to eat three times a day even if that makes it hard or impossible to get enough calories and causes low blood sugar and makes you feel hungry and ill.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.
