Silly Protein vs. Iron question

I feel like I should know this but here it goes.

If I have a shake made with water that is a Whey Isolate or Whey Blend will that interfere with my iron pill?

I guess what I don't know is if since whey is a milk by-product does it have Calcium still attached.


RIght now I take my Iron/Vit C when I wake up in the middle of the night to go pee.

I know, it should. Does not appear to.

But when you say "iron pill", you do mean iron with a side of vit C, right?

Yes. 1 iron pill and 1 vit C pill. 

Thanks.  The last few night I've slept right threw the night and I"m trying to work the Iron & Vit C back into my plan without interference.
