final meeting with surgeon
went today all day down to the hospital for final pre admission testing and "boot camp" to see the rooms and a meeting about the surgery. then went to the surgeons to sign papers and ask final questions. lost 10lbs in 8 days on the pre op diet and brought my bmi down to 48 from 50. happy about that. still not nervous and relatively relaxed about everything. a couple weeks ago i was in panic mode. i guess that will all change on sunday or monday since tuesday is the day. hope everything goes well for me and i have no complications
I'll be praying for you before I'm knocked out Tuesday at 7:45a. THe 12th will be it and they'll welcome us on the losers bench!!

Melissa I'll be thinking of you!! I know that you're nervous but Dr. O is very good at what he does so try to remember why you made this decision in the first place. Just think, soon you'll be on here complaining about how you feel nauseous, can't possibly get all that protein and water in, hate taking the nasty calcium you bought, and wondering why the scale isn't moving just like all us other newbies.
C'mon that made you laugh, right? lol
Hang in there girl!!!
