I like the health benefits of taking these but I'm wondering if we can still absorb them as well after surgery?  Should I not even bother taking them after surgery since they are an oil?

My surgeon told me there would be no need to take these anymore after surgery.

I started flaxseed oil when my skin was super dry and itchy.  I knew I might not absorb it well, but it really did seem to help.  So I don't think it hurts to try them.

It is difficult to digest the gel capsules around the fish oil. For maximum absorption I use Coromega Omega 3. It is in a paste formula. I like the Orange flavor and it has helped with my Arthritis. I usually buy from Walgreens.com because they have special sales of buy 1, get 1 free with free shipping and no sales tax for the 90 packet boxes (the special is running right now) (P.S. make sure you enter quantity as 2 for these offers). You can also order at Coromega.com

Oh awesome! I usually print a $5 coupon from the website. Wonder if I can apply that to the BOGO Walgreens sale! I love the orange ones. I thought the chocolate orange ones sounded good, but I found I really like the orange flavor better.

Updated to add that they are currently out of stock on the Coromega at Walgreens.com right now but there is an online code that you can use for $5 off when they come back in stock 10046.
