I was told that I can't take my buddy MIDOL or EXCEDRINE after RNY...I've come to terms with that....sort of. I was told pamprin was ok to take, BUT it does NOTHING for me.....what else can we take for that time of the month that doesn't involve a script?

SO your VSG is so good, where are you photos? Why can't you spell something as common day as TYLENOL!

I'd love to hear this answer too. Since surgery, I get the worst pain/cramps that literally feels like labor. It has been only happening on the 2nd day of TOM, but it brings me to tears every time. Tylenol has zero effect so I use 1/2 dose of the liquid Lortab I had leftover from after surgery. I hate taking it because it makes me loopy and nauseated. I heard there was a Tylenol version of Midol???

Might be time to speak to both the surgeon and the GYN. There are stronger birth control that helps control the pms. There is the option of 4 periods a year (which helps with the pms). There are other options.

to the VSG mouth.... We chose the malabsorption because the bands and vsg wouldn't be right for us!
