I eat pretty much the same food every since I'm only 5 week post op. I'm holding food down, but I'm experiencing severe severe severe nausea! HELP!!!!!!! Please tell me it goes away! I try and vomit, but nothing ever comes up, and the nausea really wipes me out. I'm a full time mom, so when I get sick it's really hard on my 2 yr old daughter to hear and see her mommy not feeling well.
Any suggestions to help with nausea? Please!

What are you eating?
How much and how often?
How much fluids are you getting?

The nausea can be combatted by using Prilosec OTC once/day, especially before breakfast.

Be sure you're getting all your liquids; that can make you really feel nauseated when you start getting dehydrated and then you'll have to go to the hospital for an IV to restore your hydrations.

Good luck.

Ask your doctor for a prescription for Zofram. I took that along with Prilosec and it really helped with the nausea.

Call your surgeon. When I experience this, it was a bug. My surg had already prescribed me suppositories that I never used, but they were for nausea.
