Approved

I can't believe it. Last week I got a denied letter in the mail. My doctor called my insurance and talk to the medical director there and they overturned their dicision and approved me today. I go in on monday for a weight check and to get my optifast and schedual the surgery..

CONGRATS!! Mine is scheduled for Tuesday the 31st too. Just wondering will I be out and able to go to my sons graduation?? God I hope so, i cannot change the date,(well, I dont want to, i feel so selfish for that,lol)

Dont feel guilty.  You have been behind your son all through his schooling it is time you do for YOU.  You have put him first his whole life I am sure.  If all goes well you should only be in the hosital a few days.  my drs average is 2 days when is his graduation"?

I just got approved yesterday as well!!  Scheduler will be calling me by the end of the week.  I'll feel better when I have the date and can start scheduling around it.  Congrats to you!!!!
