TMI bladder
If you take Detrol LA, which is a controlled release med, you probably need to be switched to something different. Drugs which are meant to release and be slowly absorbed over a certain amount of time in the body no longer work properly in our re-arranged intestinal systems. They don't stay in our pouches long enough and are malabsorbed in the shortened and bypassed small intestines.
Your surgeon should have had you switched to something different prior to surgery (much like anyone on controlled release depression/anxiety meds should be switched). But, since they didn't you need to go talk to your PCP or whoever prescribed the meds for you in the first place.
