Day 6 post-op--SWELLING

It's day 6 and I'm so swollen!! I feel so much pressure on my skin. It feels like it's going to burst!!
My feet and legs are the worst. Never in my life have I been this swollen. I'm worried. Should I walk or rest? Drink more or drink less? Please Help!!

Drink more:) When I left the hospital they put me on Microzide for swelling. It's helped so much. Good luck I know how you feel:(

Definitely call your doctor! Could it be gas? I am 7 days post-op and I know that's been a problem for me. I thought I was going to explode.

Yes, I would agree, if your swelling has increased- call your doc.

Did they take you off any blood pressure medicine while you were in the hospital because those have a diuretic in them and stopping them can cause bloating. But like others have said.......call your doctor ASAP
