I am 6 days post-op. Just went to the doctor for post-op exam. I gained 15 pounds!! I've been retaining alot of water, but 15 pounds??? The doctor didn't seemed concerned and asured me the water weight will come off within the week. I'm not so sure. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yep, I gained 24 pounds.  It's all fluids.  It took about a week and a half before it came off.  A lot of people deal with this.  It's because they pump us full of fluids in the OR and while we are in the hospital.

Thanks so much for letting me know that. I was pretty upset, but the more I talk to people, the more I realize that it is indeed "normal".

It sucks but it's normal! Keep off the scale for a bit. Just do all the "right" things by your plan and you'll be very surprise by the results.  GOOD luck
