Corvite

Hello all,

My surgeon/nutritionist team prescribed Corvite for me as my iron supplement. I believe it has D and B12 in it as well.

2 issues: it is horribly constipating and it is not covered by my insurance so it costs $75 a month (out of my budget).

What else can I take? Is there one vitamin that includes all of that, or can I take a combo? I'm seeing my team in 2 weeks and I'd like to be able to ask but be nformed about what the alternatives are.

Other meds I take are Urso, calcium supplement and multivitamin (and now 2 colace every AM and PM).

Thanks--

Try the Vitalady.com website;  she is really a good source of info re: supplements.

That being said, I've read about some folks who use "tender iron" which seems to be not so
constipating as regular Iron.

Good luck!
