NSV: Told that My Size Would Not Be Where The Plus Sizes Are
See that's celebrating one small victory at a time. I know my new favorite store has become the Durham Rescue Mission Thrift Store. (The Goodwill runs a close second). My support group took a day to go Goodwill hunting, and I discovered what wonderful treasures these places could hold. I have purchased several expensive things with the tags still on them, and other gently used pieces. At first, I was going to shop regularly at Ross or other stores (and still look there from time to time), but started going through the sizes so quickly, that I figured it would make more sense to spend as little as possible on my whatever size "temporary" wardrobe. I get to experiment with new styles as I relearn what looks good on the all the time improving me.
