Biotin - how much?

I started taking Biotin yesterday to prepare for the hairloss. I know it will happen as it has happened with every surgery and weightloss I have had. I have never tried the Biotin so thought I would give it a shot this time - Bypass surgery is 9/26. Just wondered how much others were taking.

Hope your day is great!

There is no standard dose... I have heard of people taking everything from 500 to 7500 units per day!  A typical dose seems to be 1500-2000, though.  Be warned that taking too much -- or taking any at all for some people --  may cause excess facial hair growth, though (and the additional facial hair is permanent).
