I want to throw up!

It's been way to long since I've been here. I reached my doctor's goal, but I'd like to lose another 20 pounds. Aside from that, I've been doing okay. But over the past 2-3 months I can't eat more than 1/4 cup of anything without feeling so overly full that it feels like food is piled up to my throat. It's an awful feeling, and subsides after 20 min or so. I don't know why this is happening now...I mean so long after my surgery.

Anyone recognize these symptoms?

Oh I wanted to add - I have actually tried to throw up -- I know I'd feel better -- but I stick my finger down my throat and only gag. Is it okay to make yourself vomit if you feel you need to?

Really a newbie here, but stricture????

Anxious to see what the vet's think. Of course I don't have any idea about the throwing-up part.

Hope you feel better !!! And WoW! Congrats on such a great loss!!!

I thought strictures happen just after surgery - I mean, when we're healing. Am I wrong?

Well, a stricture can happen any time.  It's a long time post-op for you, but I don't see
why it couldn't be happening.

Best way to find out is to get scoped and if so they can fix it right then.

Best wishes,
