it's a sister thing

Well Folks,

My sister should be in surgery now as we speak or just getting out of surgery. She is having a bypass today and was the first one of the day. Unfortunately she lives in Georgia and I live in New York.  I'm going to call now and check if all went well.  We are both so excited since I recently got my date for Oct. 17th and I am just waiting for insurance approval.  Being that we are half sisters, this journey has really brought us closer and I am super excited for us to start our new happier healthier lives together.  I'll keep you all updated!!!

What a great support you will be for each other. Try not to be too competitive though. Everyone loses at different rates.
My twin sister had the lap band exactly 3 years to the day before I had RNY.

Thanks so much ladies!!! She is out of surgery and in the recovery room. They said she should be in her room shortly....I hope my surgery gets approved. I should know by next week since everything will be submitted this week.  Best of luck to everyone else

Me an my twin sister did the same thing. I had mine on aug23 she had her's on sept 6. We r both doin fine I jus got an infection.it's been 2weeks for her an she us back 2work. It's one of the best thing we ever did 2gether.so congratulating 2u an ur sister!!!!
