Six years three mos., 10 days post-op.

A big regain. NO REGRETS at all. This surgery saved my life.

Lack of exercise and eating wrong was my problem, but actively working on a solution.

Now having a cardiac problem, but I'm so healthy I think it'll
be easy to fix. I shudder to think what it would have been like trying to deal with it at my pre-op weight.

203 # lowest--now at a weight I prefer to keep to myself.  Suffice it to say that my surgeon
isn't pleased with me, but I'm still more than 100# below where I started my journey.

See?  The old Shame Game still applies.

Great job!  I feel the same that getting the weight off will help or solve many of the other co-morbidities that we suffer.  Hang in there and keep working it! It is an amazing tool!

I am 5 yrs and 4 months out on Oct 6th. I don't regret any of it. The journey has been a good one for me. I just had PS in August, today I am 7 weeks out from having my TT. So Now I feel I made it full circle, it's still hard to believe even after 5 years, I totally would do it over in a heartbeat. I wish you the best of luck and you know people that have complications are a very small percentage and the ones who give up are the ones that usually gain the weight back. Once you get this done, its like a huge boost to help loose the weight, and its a lot easier to maintain it to. Good luck with everything.

Zombie, sounds great! What a good support and inspiration you are to me.  Please tell me what is a PS and TT? Thanks so much!

I'm glad I can help lol. When I refer or anyone here refers to PS or TT it stands for Plastic Surgery (PS) and Tummy Tuck (TT). Hope you do well, good luck.
