Is diarrhea normal newly post-op? I feel great but have had a little stomach cramping and an episode of diarrhea after some meals since I have advanced to soft/moist foods. I am not concerned about dehydration or anything, this is just very different for me as constipation has been an issue for me for some time when I have been in weightloss mode. It's almost welcome, but just wondering if it was pretty common in newly post-ops.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Hope your day is great!

Yep.  I had some awful diarrhea the first week or so.

Oh, you betcha!! Not surprising due to the liquid diet. The first 8 - 9 days I took to putting a thick towel down while sitting. Passing gas could bring a "surprise!"

Yep. Also, it's not uncommon to develop lactose intolerance in the beginning, so keep an eye out to see if dairy is an issue.
