Follow up endoscopy today

and the Dr says my ulcer is healed and my pouch looks great . I thought I may have stretched it as I sometimes feel like I could eat forever. But all is ok. Now I don't have to take that carafate anymore.

That's great to hear! Gives me hope. I've been on carafate for 3 months and still battling this ulcer. Hopefully soon I will be able to post the same. Good for you!!

You're only taking Carafate for the ulcer?  What about Nexium?  I just started my second month of Nexium, if it wasn't for this medication, I know I'd still be in terrible pain.  I took Carafate as well as Nexium for the first few weeks.  After that, it has just been the Nexium. 

I'm also taking protonix twice a day. It is very helpful. But nothing seems to be healing it...
