I tried on all the brands at macy's that were the molded cups with underwire and then went to Victoria's Secret and loved the showstopper bra but not the price of it.  I may just go back because everything else looked horrible.  I'm a 36DD and I need a bra that supports the weight and doesn't let the girls fall out over the top.  I hate boob muffin tops. It isn't because the cup is too small but it doesn't support the loose skin.  I tried a 36DDD that Lane Bryant had but the cups were too big and it puckered.  UGH!

I think the regular underwires would probably fit best but they also show the nips.  And these days those nips are all over inside the bra so I look cross-eyed (if you know what I mean ladies).  I don't want to worry about adjusting my nipples.  LOL.

I miss my boobs from 20 years ago before the weight gain and nursing kids.  They didn't need a shaper bra because they had shape and I could wear any bra.

I have yet to find any. I am a 34-36DD and well it is just sad. I may have to go try the one you found at VS. For me this is the hardest part of the weight loss. I have always had nice boobs and now I look like a 90 yr old gramm.

It was a really nice bra!  But it was between $45-$55 bucks. It may be worth it since I can't find anything else that looks good.

Even though I am done losing all my weight (4 years post-op), I still wear a 36DDD ****asionally DD) bra.  I have found that the Cacique balconette bra (either in Lane Bryant or in stand alone stores) offers excellent support and a decent look without excessive padding or allowing "spillage".

I have a couple of VS bras, but the sexy ones do not really offer enough support... and the only one that did offer enough support wasn't very attractive.

Lora,
I just had to throw out my Cacique Balconette and it was the best bra I ever owned!  It was a 40DDD and way too big now and they don't carry size 36 in the store when I checked today.  I forgot that the lady there said the 36's are online.  Going there now.  Thanks for the reminder.

Lora, thank you so much for the lead on these bras!!

I have been having such a hard time finding my size, 36 DD, in a wire free bra.....so, I searched bra on here, found this thread & read your reply. I promptly checked out Lane Bryant.com & ordered 4 bras (they were on sale, buy one get one free!).

They just came in today & are amazing!!! I am so happy :)

I am in Canada & only paid $35 per bra, including exchange, shipping & duty because of the sale. It was totally meant to be!

Thank you again!!

April :)

I find the Modern Movement bras and panties from Dillards to be the best for quality and support.  Not cheap, but if you are through losing, it is worth it to invest in good support garments.  Go to the store and get fitted.  I think you will be glad you did.

OOO this is a problem I just had to get taken care of. I am so tired of bras being uncomfortable and ugly. I just found the best bra ever...Powershape® Back Smoothing Minimizer. It is the first under-wire I have worn in 20 years. It has wide sides and different back sections so it also holds in ALL MY LOOSE SKIN! You know the stuff that poofs out around the thin bra sections under the arms and the back. I have had it for a week now and LOVE IT! I found them on sale at the Bali outlet for 14.99.

I was a 48F and now I'm a 38D so you can imagine how much looseness there is to fit.

You can get a 36DD from Lane Bryant.  The Cacique balconette bras are amazing.  Pre-op I wore a 40F and am now a 36DD.  Needless to say, gravity is a ***** and without a bra they look sad.  In the balconette my boobs look as great as they did before pregnancy, nursing and gaining/losing 100 pounds.  If they don't have your size in the store they will order it and ship it to you for free.  If it doesn't fit they will exchange it in the store with no problem.
