 Welcome! I am still fairly new around here myself, and also fresh out of surgery. I can relate all too well, my weight gain started after the military. It seemed once I left the weight just... found me. I also found it difficult at times to ride my motorcycle. It would feel like the tank was digging into my thighs, and on a hot day the heat from the engine... would be unbearable. 

You will find a very supportive bunch around here, willing to answer questions, offer advice, and walk with you down this path. It is a bumpy road, but the destination is totally worth it!

Wow, same kind of story. I will keep in touch with you the best I can on here. Being new I am unsure how I plan to log on and respond. I am so used to using Face Book on my iPhone that it almost feels weird using my PC. Best of luck to you as well, thank you!

Good luck on your journey...I just had my surgery last week, in fact 1 week today!!

I went to my first consult on Nov 16th 2010. Had my surgery March 7th 2011. Have lost a total of 174 lbs in a year. No regrets!
