Mirror, mirror . . .
I was told it could happen but it wasn't until Monday when I caught sight of myself in a mirror that I experienced that strange feeling of disorientation and confusion. I stared at this person who seemed like a stranger to me (and I'm only down about 40lbs) and wondered when I changed so much.
The next day I stood in front of the mirror and saw no change at all. I saw myself as I was at my heaviest.
So logically I knew this could happen but it still feels like someones playing head games with me!

I feel you. This happens to me all the time. I still can't get over my new body. Occasionally, I catch a glimpse of myself unexpectedly and have to do a double take!
I'm a year out and down 100 pounds....I know first hand that it takes a while for our heads to catch up with our new reality.
Take a moment to fully appreciate your progress. Take pictures. Accept compliments. Enjoy the ride.
Best of luck to you and congratulations!
