Thx its good to know that they will accepted the PCOS. Well I will know much more tomorrow after i met my doc :-)

I'm not sure if the rules have changed or not, but when I had my surgery three years ago, BMI was not a factor.  You had to be a minimum of 100 pounds overweight and have a co-morbidity. 

Family history makes no difference.  It's what's going on with you that TriCare is looking at.

My co-morbidity was sleep apnea.

The tricare requirements are currently what lilbear posted - if you go to the tricare website and search obesity surgery it says the same exact thing - I have not seen anything about tricare requiring a 6 month program -
And if they deny you the first go around appeal until then approve you.....
