waiting for decission

Hey ,
I just got back from my appointment with my surgeon and he will submit the paper tomorrow  so now I have to wait :-( Do you know how long it normaly takes until u hear something from Tricare? I also read that ppl check it ...How do you do it? On myTricare? My Bmi was actually a  lil higher then i thought 36,7  plus my PCOS I so hope that i get approved but  something tells me I wont...hmmm

Anyone? :-(

 I know i'm not on tricare but i have anthem and the surgeon submitted for approval on the first of december and i got approved on the 6 th.    I guess i'm just saying it varies with any insurance it could be anywhere from a day to 30 days.  Hope you get approval soon!

Thanks, I really hope so too :-) I think I ll go crazy in the mean time lol  Just not sure if I have to call to find out or if  i can check it online??? Maybe someone who has Tricare can tell me that. :-)

You can view your referral status at:  Humana-military.com.  They normally have a decision made within 3-5 business days.  If it's been more than 5, I would call.
